You were meant to move, and the stronger your heart is to pump blood with the nutrients and oxygen the better. This is well documented. Just like you don’t want to have any nervous system interference to life, you don’t want any blocked arteries because “there is life in the blood”. (Lev. 17:14). This is well documented as you were meant to move like an ant all day long and to work. You can walk one hour to work, work in the fields all day, and walk back. Your body was meant to handle a lot. The fast food and creature comforts have made us move less. Yet if you do this well, not like some exercise plans that wear your joints, discs, and knees early, you can stay function well past 100. My concern here is too little, and the gym fads and tv adds that promote movements that you won’t do when you are 60 or 70 or can’t, and they actually make you more immobile due to excess wear and damage. Certain stretching and yoga moves as well can damage discs and cause permanent damage unnecessarily. The proper work is so important.
